How do I sign in, reset my password or change my email?

Sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, or with Google. Some accounts still sign in with an email and password. To change a password, open Account, then Security. Your sign-in email cannot be changed.

Ways to sign in

• Emailed code: on the log-in page ("Welcome back. Log in to your Lawnly business."), enter your email and choose Email me a code. "We'll email you a 6-digit code. No password needed." Enter the code. A code works once and expires after 10 minutes, and you can ask for another after 30 seconds.
• Google: choose Continue with Google and use the email on your Lawnly account.
• Email and password: the older sign-in page ("Welcome back — Sign in to your Lawnly account") asks for your Email Address and Password, and also offers Continue with Google and Forgot Password?.

In the iPhone app you can also use Sign in with Apple.

Reset a forgotten password

On the password sign-in page, choose Forgot Password?. On "Forgot your password?", enter your Email Address and choose Send reset link. You get an email with a link to choose a new password.

Change your password

1. Open Account, then Security.
2. Under Change Password, enter your Old Password, a New Password and Confirm Password.
3. Choose Change Password.

A password must be 8 to 128 characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. If you sign in with a code or Google, you do not need a password at all.

Change your email

The email you sign in with is shown on Account Information (or Personal Information) but "Email cannot be changed. It's tied to your account login." You can change your first and last name and your phone number there.

If you cannot sign in

A wrong or expired code means asking for a new one. If the email never arrives, check the address you typed, look in your spam folder, and ask for a new code once the timer ends.
