How do I clear a day or a range of days from the schedule?
Cancel the visits in a date range in one step, keep chosen customers, and undo for 7 days.
On the Calendar tab, open Bulk actions and choose Clear schedule…. Pick the dates, check the preview, and confirm. You can undo for 7 days. Owners and managers can do this, on a screen at least 768 pixels wide.
Pick the days
You can also choose Select days on the calendar from Bulk actions, click a day (or a crew's cell) and then a second day to make a range, and choose Clear. In the Clear schedule window you set:
- When. Rest of this week, Rest of this month, Next 30 days, All upcoming, Past due or Everything open, or your own From and To dates.
- Crew. All crews + unassigned, one crew, or Unassigned only.
- Recurring visits. "Keep their series running — only the visits in this range are cleared", or "Stop their series too — also removes every other open visit of those series, past and future".
Narrow down… clears only recurring visits, only one-time jobs, or only visits rolled forward by the system.
Preview and confirm
The preview says how many visits and customers are affected (for example "Cancels 41 visits for 39 customers"), how many later visits stay, which visits are left alone and how many emptied routes are removed. Show N customers lets you keep any of them. Choose Clear N visits…, then Yes, clear N visits, or Keep schedule to back out.
The visits are cancelled, not deleted. Visits with an invoice or a quote are never touched, nor are visits in progress or completed. Routes lose the cleared stops, and emptied routes are removed.
Undo
Choose Undo on the result, or Bulk actions, Recent clears… within 7 days, then confirm Restore N visits. Visits come back with their earlier status and stopped series start again. Routes are not rebuilt; re-optimize them from the day view.
Limits
A range can be up to 2 years, and a single clear handles up to 10,000 visits; narrow the range if Lawnly says it is too many.
To move or delete a few jobs on one day instead, use Manage jobs on that day. See The calendar.
