Why won't my quote send?

The usual reasons a quote will not send, from verification to a total under $20, and how to fix each.

The most common reason is that your business is not verified yet. Lawnly saves the quote as a draft, so nothing is lost. If you are verified, the cause is usually one of the items below, and the form tells you which.

Your business is not verified

When you choose Send Quote, Lawnly checks verification. If you have not started, you see "You're almost ready to get paid", with "Your quote is saved as a draft". If your business is under review you see "Verification In Progress", and "Additional Information Required" means the payment processor needs something more. The quote stays in the customer's Quotes list as a draft. Finish getting verified, then open the draft and send it.

The total is too low

A quote must total at least $20.00. The total says "Minimum quote total is $20.00" and Send Quote stays off until it is.

A service line is incomplete

Add at least one service, and give every line a description, a quantity of at least 1 and a price.

The property is missing or wrong

Pick a property. A new property needs a full address with a valid ZIP. The form also refuses an address that matches the customer's main address or one already saved for them, and an address that belongs to another customer in your business. Pick another address, or use that customer's record.

No way to send it

Tick at least one of Send Email or Send Text Message.

  • Email needs a valid email address on the customer.
  • Text needs a phone number and consent. A customer who opted out shows "Customer opted out of SMS"; one who has not agreed shows "Customer not opted in — edit customer to attest". Record their consent on the customer, or send by email. See Texting customers.
