How do I get the Lawnly app and sign in?

Install the provider app on your phone and sign in with an emailed code, Google or Apple, or your password.

Install the Lawnly app for lawn care businesses on your phone, open it, choose Log In, and sign in. The app is for businesses and their crews, not the one homeowners use. If you were invited to a team, accept the invitation from the email first, on the web: the app has no screen for accepting an invitation.

Sign in with a code

  1. Open the app and choose Log In. The screen says "Welcome back. Log in to your Lawnly business."
  2. Enter your email and choose Email me a code. "We'll email you a 6-digit code. No password needed."
  3. The screen says "I sent a 6-digit code to …" and shows a countdown. Enter the code from the email.
  4. If the code does not arrive, wait for the countdown, then choose Resend. To start over with another address, go back.

Sign in with Google or Apple

On the same screen, choose Continue with Google and use the email on your Lawnly account. On iPhone you can also use Sign in with Apple.

Sign in with a password

Some accounts still use the older sign-in screen, which asks for your email and password and has a Forgot Password? link. See How do I sign in, reset my password or change my email?.

What you see after you sign in

What the app shows depends on your role:

  • Owner, admin or manager: the Customers list, with a menu of Create, Job Board, Private Jobs, Customers, Invoices, My Payouts, Messages, Team, My Counties, Business and Account.
  • Crew member: My Routes, with a menu of Routes, Timecard and Settings. See How do I run my route from the mobile app?.

See What can an admin, a manager and a crew member do?.

If the app says your trial has ended

If your trial has ended or a payment failed, the app shows a lock: "Your free trial has ended. Manage your plan at lawnly.com to keep using Lawnly for your lawn care business. Everything you set up is saved." Choose Continue to lawnly.com; the app itself does not show prices or a way to subscribe. See What do I do if my trial ended or a payment failed?.
